On April 10, the HKCPMA 23rd Board Inauguration Ceremony and the Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony between the Association and the China Packaging Federation Paper Products Committee were grandly held in Dongguan. Wang Yuezhong, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the China Packaging Federation; Xu Xiaoguang, Chairman of the Asian Corrugated Carton Association, Vice President of the China Packaging Federation, Director of the Paper Products Packaging Committee of the China Packaging Federation, and Chairman of Xiamen Hexing Packaging Printing Co., Ltd.; Zhang Yaoquan, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary General of the Paper Products Packaging Committee of the China Packaging Federation; Chen Hansong, President of HKCPMA; Situ Chongguang, Secretary General; Wang Wenjie, General Manager of Shanghai Lixin Exhibition Co., Ltd.; as well as presidents, members, and representatives of corrugated carton industry associations from multiple Asian countries, presidents of major chambers of commerce, and guests attended the ceremony.

The inauguration ceremony began with a speech by Mr. Xu Xiaoguang on behalf of the Asian Corrugated Carton Association and the China Packaging Federation. He stated that HKCPMA, after 52 years of development, has not only played a crucial leading and driving role in the development of the corrugated carton industry in Hong Kong, but has also driven the development of the corrugated packaging industry in mainland China, represented by Guangdong Province, bringing new ideas and new directions, and actively promoting the development and upgrading of the corrugated carton packaging industry in southern China. It can be said that it has played a very important role in the history of China's corrugated carton industry. The inauguration of the 23rd Board marks a new force that will bring new life and new opportunities to the Association, inject new strength to meet the challenges of the new era, write a new chapter for the future of the Association, and make new contributions to the harmonious development of the corrugated packaging industry.

Subsequently, Secretary General Wang Yuezhong of the China Packaging Federation, as the guest of honor, presided over the swearing-in ceremony for the new Board and presented appointment certificates to the new President Chen Hansong, Vice President Ma Renjie, Vice President Ma Chubang, and Vice President Situ Chongguang of HKCPMA.

The newly inaugurated 23rd Board President Chen Hansong expressed warm gratitude to the guests attending the ceremony. He candidly stated that serving as the Association's President, transitioning from an enterprise "helmsman" to the Association's "helmsman," is an entirely new role. This appointment is not only a recognition and trust from the Board members, but also an expectation and a heavy responsibility, giving him the opportunity to shine on this new platform of the Association and make new contributions to the Association's development. He emphasized that he would quickly step into the new role, work diligently and conscientiously, and hoped to achieve results for the Association's development like previous Presidents, focusing on several areas: establishing a secretariat to improve the Association's development and service work; recruiting new members to strengthen the Association's membership; and gathering new forces to strengthen connections among the Association's member enterprises.

  President Chen Hansong's speech conveyed much new information to the industry. HKCPMA has gone through 52 years, and with the efforts of successive Presidents and Board members, the Association has enjoyed brilliant achievements and has extremely high visibility in mainland China and Hong Kong. Member enterprises cover numerous regions, and many enterprises take pride in being Board members of the Association. Today, the rapidly changing market presents the Association with a series of new changes and challenges. In the face of these new changes and challenges, the Association needs to boldly explore new development models, boldly open up new development pathways, and boldly bring in new talent. HKCPMA will also transform its previous approach, becoming more proactive in recruiting paper packaging enterprise members from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as its core, including the cities of Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, as well as the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
